Sugar aka Star is the horse in the know in Rodeo and Juliet: Sunny Ridge， Montana Book 1 by Linda Ford。 The main characters Juliet and Rodeo are engaging as well as the supporting characters but it is Sugar that steals every scene he is in along with my heart。 At times it is loud out loud funny but then it is also emotional moving especially with family illness。 Having dealt with a parent’s memory issues I know the anxiety and worry。 However， what I never thought of the added struggled before th Sugar aka Star is the horse in the know in Rodeo and Juliet: Sunny Ridge， Montana Book 1 by Linda Ford。 The main characters Juliet and Rodeo are engaging as well as the supporting characters but it is Sugar that steals every scene he is in along with my heart。 At times it is loud out loud funny but then it is also emotional moving especially with family illness。 Having dealt with a parent’s memory issues I know the anxiety and worry。 However， what I never thought of the added struggled before there was so much information and helps。Juliet is somewhat of a Martha personality so she would not have been looking for romance。 Yet God’s mysterious ways can even use a smart horse to bring Rodeo to her。 A lovely story that has humor and wit making it a perfect novella length read when you need a lift。The publisher/author gave me a complimentary ARC of the book which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed。 All thoughts and opinions are my own。 。。。more

I love books with humor and poignancy！ This story has both！ A trick horse shows up at Juliet's aunt & uncle's hotel and follows her around。 She can't get rid of him and soon finds out that this horse is special and has all kinds of skills。 She's too busy at the hotel to do much about it though！ However， the owner， Rodeo， shows up and says it's his horse that he uses in performances and he needs it so he can buy a ranch。 The kicker is that the horse won't do anything without Juliet！ I really enjo I love books with humor and poignancy！ This story has both！ A trick horse shows up at Juliet's aunt & uncle's hotel and follows her around。 She can't get rid of him and soon finds out that this horse is special and has all kinds of skills。 She's too busy at the hotel to do much about it though！ However， the owner， Rodeo， shows up and says it's his horse that he uses in performances and he needs it so he can buy a ranch。 The kicker is that the horse won't do anything without Juliet！ I really enjoyed the laughter at the antics of this special horse and then the sweetness of the relationship of Rodeo and Juliet。 I would definitely recommend it！ 。。。more
